EMS

The Village of Oxford Fire Department Emergency Squad proudly protects 5576 people in an area of 133 square miles (Source 2000 Census). We have two ambulances both capable of providing Advanced Life Support under the Direction of our Medical Director Martin C. Masarech MD.

We participate in the Susquehanna Regional Emergency Medical Services protocol region which serves Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counties, whose liberal and progressive protocols allow our providers to perform a wide array of invasive procedures and medication administration on Standing Order

We carry Medtronic Physio-Control LP-12 cardiac monitors that are capable of performing EKG monitoring, defibrillation, cardio-version, pacing, End-tidal CO2 monitoring, Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Monitoring as well as diagnostic-quality 12-Lead EKG’s.
